Amsterdam, June 1, 2022 – This week Tiqets, an online ticketing platform for museums and attractions, celebrated their 20 million tickets sold milestone. This is the latest in a series of milestones reached by the Dutch scale-up in 2022, including breaking their own record for most tickets sold in a day.
The 20 millionth ticket was booked by a UK traveler for the FC Barcelona tour at Camp Nou Stadium, and the lucky buyer was rewarded with an additional set of free tickets to an attraction of their choice.

Despite nearly two years of rolling lockdowns and a global shutdown of the travel industry, Tiqets is thriving. In recent months, the company has broken its own record for the number of sales in one day. And, monthly ticket sales in 2022 so far are double what their numbers were pre-pandemic.
Tiqets partners with over 4,000 attractions in more than 60 countries. The venues they work with include renowned names such as the Louvre in Paris, the Colosseum in Rome, Burj Khalifa in Dubai and Sagrada Familia in Barcelona.
