Tiqets Announces Portugals Winners of the 8th Annual Remarkable Venue Awards

Lisbon, 16th October 2024 – Yesterday, Tiqets, the leading online ticketing platform, announced Portugals winners of the 8th annual Remarkable Venue Awards (RVAs). This prestigious awards program honors and celebrates excellence in museums, attractions and experiences across five vibrant countries. This year was the first year the awards ceremony was showcased individually in each country. Portugal’s event was hosted at the iconic Associação Fado do Casto with 2024’s winners including Douro Valley Historical and Wine Tour- Ancient villages, Winery, Cruise and Lunch, Oceanário de Lisboa, Fundação Serralves, Torre dos Clérigos and Porto Legends: The Underground Experience.

The Remarkable Venue Awards, now in its eighth year, recognize outstanding venues in five distinctive categories, reflecting the diverse array of experiences Tiqets offers in the world’s favorite travel destinations: France, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain and the UK. This year, 120 nominees competed worldwide across the six award categories (Best Museum, Best Landmark, Best Family Experience, Best Hidden Gem, Best Activity and Most Remarkable).

The selection of winners was determined through a rigorous process. Categories including Best Museum, Best Landmark, Best Activity, Best Family Experience, and Best Hidden Gem were assessed based on an impressive collection of over 15,000 consumer votes. From these five winners, an esteemed internal panel at Tiqets decided the ultimate champion for each country - Most Remarkable Venue.
